Illustration

I love to invent playful, funny and dreamful scenes in my illustrations. There are many stories hidden in the pictures’ details. Pen-and-ink-drawing, watercoloring and digital painting are the techniques I use for creating my world of art.

Animation

Animation and cartoons do inspire me a lot. As an art director, set designer, or digital background painter I draw and create movies, animations and background with a team. Thus I could contribute my work to such wonderful projects like the ”The Adventures of the Young Marco Polo” (TV-series), ”Tilda Appleseed” (TV-series) or ”Best Birthday Ever” (film adaption of Rotraut Susanne Berner’s children’s book). more

Other projects

Etchings

Etchings I have appreciated since I was quite young. In the meantime I have produced quite an oeuvre. Hard grounds and aquatint are my favourite techniques. In my studio I make hand impressions and colourise individually the works of art.
